Turkish Proficiency
Turkish Proficiency Candidates who are accepted to the programs whose medium of instruction is Turkish can start their education from NKU-YÖS Turkish Test or T.C. They must get enough points from one of the TÖMER affiliated to their university or from the Placement Exam held by NKU TÖMER. Candidates who have completed their secondary education in Turkish high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education are considered to have sufficient Turkish. Except for the TÖMER documents submitted during registration, TÖMER documents received after registration are invalid and candidates must document their language status from NKÜ TÖMER after registration.
TOMER documents received from other universities after the Final Registration are not accepted.
Students who fail to improve their Turkish level to a sufficient level within two years after their enrollment in the university will be deregistered.
